Privacy & your data

Short version: pod is local-first. No ads, no trackers, no third-party analytics — and offline play never sends anything anywhere.

Playing offline / single-player

Everything about your single-player games — your name, settings, streak, coins, badges, collected words, saved games — lives in your browser's local storage on your device. It never leaves it, with one exception:

Submitting a score to the world board sends exactly: your display name, the level, the score, and timing figures (game duration and average seconds per answer). Nothing else — no email, no device identifiers.

Playing online (multiplayer)

Signing in to Play Online uses a one-time email code. For online play we store:

Your email address — used only to sign you in. It is never shown to other players and never shared or used for marketing.
Your display name — public: other players and the leaderboards can see it.
Match results — points, level, lobby code and time, attached to your account for the boards.
Your IP address — kept only in short-lived rate-limit windows (to stop code-request and score flooding) and dropped within 24 hours. It is not attached to your profile or your games.

Multiplayer sign-in is for players aged 13 and over. Single-player needs no account, no sign-in and no age — nothing personal is collected.

No ads, no trackers

There is no advertising, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting and no third-party analytics on this site. The only counters are self-hosted and anonymous (for example, an aggregate "games played today" number) — they contain no personal data and no IP addresses.

Deleting your account

You can erase your multiplayer account at any time:

In the game: Play Online → your profile → Delete account. This deletes your account record (including your email) immediately, and anonymizes any of your entries on the score boards to "PLAYER".
By email: write to support@rapidloop.ai from the address you signed in with, and we'll do the same for you.

Single-player data can be wiped by clearing this site's data in your browser — it exists nowhere else.

Report a word

The dictionary is meaning-gated and filtered, but with ~78,000 words the odd one may slip through or be missing. Spotted something wrong or offensive? Report a word and we'll review it.

pod's vocabulary, definitions and pronunciations are built from open data. Thank you to:
